Linda Lorelle Scholarship for Juniors Only
Value: Up to $15,000

Criteria: To qualify, candidates must
    Be junior graduating in 2013
    Have a 2.5 GPA or higher
    Have financial need (applicant to include a copy of parent's most recent complete 
    tax return)
    Submit a copy of an official transcrupt
    Submit two recommendation letters
        one from a teacher in a core academic area
        one from an unrelated community member
    Submit a 300 word essay explaining any challenges or obstacles you have overcome
    and a 150 word essay describing your academic aspirations and professional goals

Aldine will hold a workshopfor the Linda Lorelle Scholarship on January 24, 2012 afterschool in B-18 and B-19.

Who: Senior PArents adn students (Spanish translation will be provided)

Why: Provide financial aid information and tips on filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student  Aid)

Please bring the following documents:

    2011 tax information (W-2) for parents and student

    2011 completed tax return (1040, 1040A, 1040EZ) for the parent and student
