**At the beginning of each school year all students are provided an application for participation in the free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch program.  Families choosing to complete an application must do so each school year.  If you would like to apply online you may do so at www.aldinecafe.com.

MacArthur High School seeks to provide all students with an educational program that encourages them to develop to their full potential intellectually, physically, and socially; in order to be responsible, capable, contributing citizens in our multi-ethnic society. Inherent within this mission is the belief that all students, working together with the staff and community, can realize self-worth, and learn that education can make a difference in their lives.

MacArthur Senior is a comprehensive high school providing a positive educational experience for all students. Each year, the staff reviews and revises our goals in order to strengthen the instructional program.

MacArthur has earned distinction through the numerous programs available to students. Among those programs are Tech-Prep, Advanced Placement classes, and JROTC. Our partnership with Lonestar College offers opportunities for students in Health Science, Tech-Prep, Emergency Medical, and dual credit courses to continue their education at the college level while still in high school.

MacArthur’s award winning jazz band has gained national recognition, as have participants in National History Day, Career and Technology, and chess. Our students have also earned state honors in cross-country, speech and debate, choir, dance, and band. MacArthur High School is a place where all students can be successful!
