The Academic Decathalon is a ten-event scholastic competition for teams of high school students. Each high school enters a team of nine student: 3 "A" or Honor students, 3 "B" or Scholastic students, and 3 "C" or Varsity students. The theme for 2011-2012 Academic Decathlon season is The age of the Empire. Through this extreme academic competition, students are prepared for the academic challenges that they will encounter in college and beyond.
Students must adhere to district academic, attendance, and behavioral requirements in order to try out and participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities |
