Mission:

•  Have a more peaceful environment in school, promoting an effective way of handling disputes and reduce conflict. (Improve school climate)


• Train Peer Mediators: students who will act as a 3rd party neutral student not involved in the conflict and are wWho are good listeners and communicators. Aid peers in resolving conflict.


• Develop lifetime interpersonal skills: active listening, conflict resolution, anger management, mediation skills.


• Learn the importance of confidentiality and neutrality.


• Model appropriate ways to deal with conflicts and anger.
  

Students must adhere to district academic, attendance, and behavioral requirements in order to try out and participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
