The Philosophy Club at MacArthur was established by a student, Raj Bahkta, who had a dream to discus the fundamental problems of life, problems that deal with concepts such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, questions of the mind, thought and language, in a classroom setting at MacArthur. The club itself was guided by administration and instructors and has established a weekly meeting where all students, faculty, and administrators from MacArthur are invited to attend an informal discussion where topics are discussed in a more or less rational manner. This pursuit of “wisdom” has wandered into many aspects of philosophy, such as Logic, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, Political philosophy, Aesthetics, Philosophy of the mind, Philosophy of language, and the pursuit the truth of existence through scientific reasoning
