All 7th graders should have the
following vaccinations upon enrollment:
3 doses of Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis
1 Tdap/Td booster
4 doses of Polio one of which must have been received on or after 4th
birthday; however, 3 doses meet the requirement if the 3rd dose was
given on or after the 4th birthday.
2 doses of
Measles/Mumps/Rubella
3 doses of Hepatitis B
2 doses of Varicella
1 dose of Meningococcal
*If
your child is home ill with
a
temperature of 100° or greater,
the
student must be fever free for 24 hours
before
returning to school.
Screenings for 7th graders will be conducted before the start of TAKS testing: vision
hearing
acanthosis nigricans
