5th grade students are allowed to check out up to three books at a time for a period of two weeks. 6th graders are allowed to check out up to four books for a period of two weeks. A Date Due card is placed in the back of each book that is checked out. Students may turn books in at any time, either before school, between classes, at lunch, after school, or with their Reading class. Once books become overdue, a fine of 10 cents a day will begin to accrue. Replacement costs will be charged for any lost or damaged items.

The library sponsors Scholastic Book Fairs twice a year, usually in September and March.
