Parker Intermediate School has implemented a standardized dress code for the 2011-2012 school year. Research shows that a school with a standardized dress code has a sense of pride, a sense of focus, and students feel less stressed. With the dress code, educational excellence will be a priority; social equality will be an aspect of the present, and low expectations will be a part of the past.

Our Standardized Dress Code for the 2011-2012 school year:
* Solid collared shirts (purple, black, white, or gray only) Undershirts worn must also be adopted standardized dress colors.
* Solid black or khaki pants, shorts or skirts (no jeans). All shorts and skirts must approach the knee.
* Boys and girls must tuck in their shirts.
* Black or brown belts must be worn. NO BAGGY OR OVERSIZED CLOTHING.
* Shoes must be fastened and laced.
* Clothing may not have any decals, logos, or emblems.
* Mesh or clear, transparent backpacks are required.

If students do not have a spirit shirt they are required to follow the Standardized Dress expectations.
