Geography is the study of the earth, including both the natural and human worlds. It is also the study of how the natural world interacts with human society. We also study and research foreign cultures and distant regions, and why a place is located where it is. Our goal is, that as the year progresses, the students develop a global perspective and become critical thinkers and problem solvers. The course outline and Benchmarks have been designed to coincide with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
