Nimitz 9th Grade School will be a standardized dress code campus for the 2010-2011 academic school year.

A Standardized dress code will be beneficial to students, parents, and the school in the following ways:

 A standardized dress code improves the school environment providing the students with
structure and ultimately prepares them for the workforce.
 Purchasing clothes for your student would be easier and more cost effective.
 Standardized dress codes contribute to a safer school environment by enabling school
personnel to identify who belongs in the building.

A standardized dress code will allow for students to wear specific clothing. A standardized dress code is not a uniform code. Students would have a choice of outfits as long as it conforms to the dress code. Examples of appropriate dress would be:

 All shirts must have a collar, Polo or oxford dress shirts style.
 The polo shirt colors are royal blue, navy blue, gold or white.
 Polo style shirts or oxford shirts may not have any logos on them.
 NO T-Shirts will be allowed.
 Pants, skirts, and shorts must be khaki or navy blue.
 Cargo pants or shorts are not allowed.
 Dickies are allowed.
 Jeans will be allowed on School Spirit Day.
 Oversized shirts and shirts with tails are required to be tucked in per district policy.
 All Aldine ISD dress code rules will apply.
 Exact requirements of the standardized dress code would be created with the input of teachers and community.

Nimitz del 9º Grado es escuela de vestimenta estándar para el 2010-2011 año escolar.

Esta regla  de vestimenta estándar va a ser beneficiosa para los estudiantes, los padres y/o representantes y para la escuela de numerosas maneras:

 Una regla  de vestimenta estándar mejora el ambiente de la escuela ofreciendo a los estudiantes una mejor estructura y ultimadamente los prepara para el ambiente laboral.
 La compra de ropa para los estudiantes es más fácil y más económica.
 La regla de vestimenta estándar contribuye a un ambiente escolar más seguro y al mismo tiempo, el personal docente y administrativo tiene la facilidad de identificar a todos los miembros de este plantel.

La regla de vestimenta estándar permite a los estudiantes usar piezas de vestir específicas. Esta regla  de vestimenta estándar no es un código de uniforme. Los estudiantes tienen una elección de piezas de vestir siempre y cuando este' de acuerdo a la regla de vestimenta de la escuela. Ejemplos apropiados son:

 Todas las camisas deben tener un cuello, estilo Polo o estilo Oxford.
 Los colores son azul rey, azul marino, dorado o blanco.
 NO se permite el uso de playeras o camisetas.
 Pantalones, faldas, y pantalones cortos deben ser color caqui o azul marino.
 Los pantalones, las faldas, y los pantalones cortos deben ser de color caqui o azul marino. 
 Los pantalones de mezclilla o jeans son permitidos el Día de Espíritu Escolar.
 Camisas que esten extremadamente grandes o que cuelguen deben meterse dentro de los pantalones de acuerdo a las reglas del distrito.
 Todas las reglas del código de vestimenta del Distrito Escolar de Aldine seran aplicadas.
 Requisitos exactos del código  de vestimenta estándar son creados con la colaboración del personal docente y de la comunidad.
