Second Grade Homework Policy: Students will have homework everyday in Reading, Math and Science. Reading: Students will turn in assignments posted on homework sheet each day that they come into class and also study for spelling test. Math: Students will turn in homework on Friday doing one Math page a night. Science: Students will study each night the Science vocabulary words for their test on Fridays ***If you have any questions about your child’s homework please contact your child’s teacher. Students write their homework assignments in their school agenda. Parents can check their child’s agenda for specific assignments given weekly.
The document attached is a basic assignment template used for weekly homework.
Teachers can modify homework according to the needs of their students. Student agendas will reflect the change in assignments.
Homework is important so it must be completed and turned in daily. Weekly homework grade is given as part of the final grade. If homework is not completed then it will affect student conduct grade.
